Whelan Advisory acted as the exclusive financial advisor to SK Builders in its sale to D.R. Horton (NYSE: DHI), the largest homebuilder in the country. SK Builders is a top five homebuilder and was the largest privately held builder in Greenville, SC with a top ten presence in Spartanburg, SC. The former owners of SK Builders will continue to offer their land development expertise under a new brand, SK Development.
